The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 is a comprehensive guideline that provides a pathway for the implementation of the NEP. The NCF aims at restructuring various aspects of classroom learning and redesigning school education for the better.
The NCF is created based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s vision and will support the implementation of the NEP 2020 vision. The NCF 2023 is one of the key components of NEP 2020, that enables and implements the transformation of school education, with the aim, principles, and approach being to redesign and update the educational structure in schools as per the NEP 2020. The national curriculum framework serves as a guideline for designing the syllabus for schools, curriculum implementation methods and recommends quality teaching practices in schools
